How to Protect your Sexual Health - Safe Sex Tips

It is the primary and important that you have to make sure you are taking all the precautions to avoid picking up an STI when you are having sex with a different partner. Most STIs are curable with treatment but for those that are not curable, if left untreated, they can cause serious health problems which can, in extreme cases, lead to death.

Always use a Condom while you are having sex to protect against STIs. Condom should be used when having vaginal, anal and oral sex to prevent any STIs being passed from partner to partner. Other forms of contraception will protect against pregnancy. Condoms cover the penis during sexual activity. They are most frequently made of latex, and can also be made out of synthetic materials including polyurethane.

Use a condom, also known as the ABC strategy is a sex education policy based on harm reduction and safe sex and birth control methods. Abstinence - only sex education is strictly to promote the sexual abstinence until marriage, and does not teach about safe sex or contraceptives.

Condoms are made from thin latex usually, but should you be allergic to latex then you can get condoms made from polyurethane or polyisoprene instead. If you are using lubrication when having sex with a latex condom then make sure the lube is a water-based lube as other lubrication and oils break down the latex in the condom preventing it from protecting you. Always use condoms with the CE mark on them as this means they have met safety standards.

Use of Female Condoms

Use of Female condoms are inserted into the vagina prior to intercourse. Female condoms are made of two flexible polyurethane rings and a loose-fitting polyurethane sheath. According to studies, female condoms are effective in preventing the leakage of body fluids and therefore the transmission of STIs and HIV. Several studies show that between 50% and 73% of women who have used this type of condoms during intercourse find them as or more comfortable than male condoms. On the other hand, acceptability of these condoms among the male population is somewhat less, at approximately 40%. Because the cost of female condoms is higher than male condoms, there have been studies carried out with the aim of detecting whether they can be reused. Research has shown that structural integrity of polyurethane female condoms is not damaged during up to five uses if it is disinfected with water and household bleach. However, regardless of this study, specialists still recommend that female condoms are used only once and then discarded.

Other Sexual Health Protection Techniques

STIs are passed through bodily fluids as well as skin to skin contact. These bodily fluids can be semen, vaginal fluids and blood. To avoid any of these bodily fluids entering your system it’s important to use other methods as well as condoms. Cling film (plastic wrap) and latex gloves are good for this.
When a man is performing oral sex on a woman, he may have small cuts in his mouth. Should any bodily fluids get into these small cuts, he could become infected so by placing cling film over the vagina, this will prevent any fluids passing from person to person. Always use a new piece each time.

Use of Dental Dam

A dental dam is a sheet of latex used for protection when engaging in oral sex. It is typically used as a barrier between the mouth and the vulva during cunnilingus or between the mouth and the anus during anal–oral sex.

Use of Latex Gloves

When you are using your hands to penetrate your partner, using latex gloves will protect you as they will block any bodily fluids and stop them from becoming transferred. Again, always remember to use new gloves each time you penetrate your partner. Medical gloves made out of latex, vinyl, nitrile, or polyurethane may be used as a makeshift dental dam during oral sex, or to protect the hands during sexual stimulation, such as masturbation. Hands may have invisible cuts on them that may admit pathogens or contaminate the other body part or partner.

Use of Sexy Toys

Another way to protect against pathogen transmission is the use of protected or properly cleaned dildos and other sex toys. If a sex toy is to be used in more than one orifice or partner, a condom can be used over it and changed when the toy is moved.

STI Screenings Methods

Make sure that you have regular STI tests, especially when you’ve changed sexual partners, to ensure that you haven’t contracted any STIs. If you have contracted and STI then having regular tests will ensure that you catch the STI before it comes a serious health risk. The sooner you discover an STI then the sooner you can begin treatment for it. Each STI comes with a different treatment and your GP will advise you on how to proceed. To get tested for an STI you can either visit your GP, your local GUM clinic or a sexual health clinic. Immunization against various viral infections that can be transmitted sexually.

The most common vaccines are HPV vaccine, which protects against the most common types of human papillomavirus that cause cervical cancer, and the Hepatitis B vaccine. Immunization before initiation of sexual activity increases effectiveness.

How to give a hand job to your partner

Women are not always in the mood to have a intercourse with her partner. It’s a “girl thing”. It maybe hormonal or stress related. What to do when your hubby is in the mood and you’re not? Well, at LEAST give hime a hand job and a good one. Hand jobs are great! It’s also the best way to stop or start if you’re giving Blow Job. Because your hands don’t tire out as quickly as your mouth does. Also it is easier to apply pleasure with your hand than your mouth.

Here are some of my tips to make him orgasm fast through hand job:

1. Use plenty of water-based lube. Wet hand job is way better than a dry hand job. You can also use your saliva.

2. Wrap your hand gently but firmly around his penis. Slowly move it up and down. Keep a steady rhythm.

3. Hold his penis like you’re trying to open a door knob. Then try turning it the other way. Repeat. This way the palm of your hand stimulates the underside of the penis which is highly erogenous and pleasurable.

4. Look him in the eye. Give him a sexy look while you’re giving him a hand job. Let him know that you’re focused on him.

5. Talk dirty to him. Whisper in his ear while you’re stroking him. Ask him if he wants it harder or faster.

6. If you’re not making eye-contact, you can kiss him while stroking him. Kiss, lick and suck his nipples.

7. You can also use the other hand to gently cup his balls while stroking him up and down.

8. As he nears climax, continue stroking his shaft with one hand while the other massages his perineum (stretch of skin between his anus and testitcles)

It’s a good idea to experiment and try different moves. Practice makes perfect. You can also ask him to show you how he likes to be pleasured. Put your hand over his and let him guide you.

Female Anal Sex and Orgasms

Female Anal Sex and Orgasms
Women who engage in anal stimulation describe the orgasms as being the "deepest" orgasm they've ever felt! Some women even describe anal orgasms as being even deeper and more powerful than vaginal orgasms!

Even if you have no interest in Anal sex, it’s important to learn about and understand because many women love anal sex but won’t initiate it, and many women who think they don’t like it learn to love it once they open up and try it.

  • There are some serious safety issues regarding anal sex that you need to be aware of at all times. First and foremost, whatever touches the anus shouldn't be touching anything else. Never never never take the penis out of the anus and put it into the vagina. That can lead to serious infections and other complications. After any kind of anal play, you should immediately change condoms and wash the relevant body parts thoroughly.

  • One of the most important thing to remember when thinking about anal sex is that, unlike the vagina, the anus isn't self-lubricating: you gotta bring your own grease.  And, the more lube you use, the better. It will make the initial penetration much more easy and less painful for the woman and make the whole experience, for both of you, much more pleasant. The most common suggestion we get from our readers is to use LOTS of lube; we just can't emphasize this point enough. All kinds of lube are used for anal sex, from spit to Vaseline to high-tech silicone-based lubes.

  • Simply put, a penis is an awful big to be the first thing you stick up someone's butt . Better to start with something smaller and work your way up. Fingers are an excellent beginning point. Use one finger, then two, to initiate your partner into the mysteries of anal penetration. Try it while performing oral sex for an extra thrill. Be sure your fingernails are trimmed, not to forget the lube, and you might even want to wear latex gloves.  As your partner gets used to your fingers, you might graduate to a butt plug or a small dildo. Dildos are available in all shapes and sizes. Go shopping together to get one she thinks she can handle. Remember, though, don't put the dildo into the vagina after putting it into the anus. The safest way is to put a condom on the dildo before using it, and to wash it thoroughly immediately after.
  •  Before having anal sex, the woman should have a good, complete bowel movement. If she doesn't, the man may find himself encountering far more fecal matter than he might have liked (i.e. packing the fudge). Now, for some people doing this on-command might not be the easiest thing, and straining to defecate is not healthy. A high fiber diet may help things along and is good for your health in any case.

  • Of course, STDs are also a major concern with anal sex. This isn't just limited to AIDS; herpes, genital warts, syphilis, gonorrhea, etc. can all be transmitted through anal sex. You shouldn't be having anal sex without a condom; it's not worth the risk to either partner.

Safety Tips for First Date

Tantra.com website
When you are meeting up with someone new for dating it is your duty that you put your safety first. First of all make sure you tell a close friend or family member where you are going on the date and try to give them a time that you will be back for. If the person you are meeting happens to be a friend already then the rules probably do not apply but on most occasions the person will be a stranger and you will not know much about them.

Don’t dress too provocatively. Obviously you want to impress on a first date so that a second date will follow but this does not mean you have to wear a mini skirt and be flashing your cleavage. Guys often prefer the casual look because you seem more laid back and at ease with yourself but also looking trashy may give the impression that you are up for something when you are not.

On a first date go to a public place such as the cinema, bowling, restaurant or a bar because if anything unexpected happens or you are getting bad vibes from a date there are people around to help you.
If you really just have to sleep with someone on the first date, go back to yours instead of theirs. At least at your home you are familiar with your surroundings and will have neighbours nearby if you find yourself in danger.

Set up a ‘get me out of this date now’ code with a friend. If the date is not going to plan or there is something just not quite right about the person you are with, nip to the toilet and message your friend.

Dates are meant to be fun but they will be more fun if you know you are safe and can relax.

Dirty Talking for more sex pleasure

Dirty Talking for more sex pleasure
Tantra.com website

Researches are showing that many couples enjoy sex talk as part of their flirting and love making. If you are in a relationship where you have many things in common, you each love, sex and sexuality, physically and mentally, you are compatible both in the bedroom and out, with the exception of one thing.  Sex talk is not just for during sex, try catching him off guard, and whisper something like, "Later I'd like to kiss and nibble your neck and trace my tongue along your sexy chest.".   There are plenty of very nasty things that you can say using more sensual and sexual phrasing without using words that would offend you.  You can throw in a nicely placed "c**k" or "c**t" or "t**" occasionally, men seem to like 'body parts' and the nasty words for them.  As far as men considered "It's not what you say, but how you say it." Focus your mind on how much you enjoy sex with him, how your body tingles with excitement when he touches you, and how aroused you get when you give him pleasure. You can describe all of this to him. "I like to run my hands along your thighs, would you like me to......" or "I love the feeling of your c** growing hard in my hand. You make me so wet and aroused."  Let him know what you are going to do to him, and while you are pleasing him describe all of your actions and how they are arousing you. Say something like, "Running my tongue along your thigh like this gets me really hot and makes me want to suck your c***.") Men love to hear how much they excite you and how they arouse your body.

Phone sex lines prove this is a common desire among men, and many people "dirty talk" comes easy.

Kegal Exercise for achieving long lasting and multiple orgasm

Tantra.com website

The way you can make your pelvic floor muscles stronger and more toned is by doing special exercises called kegels. Kegel exercises strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which support the uterus, bladder and bowel. If you do Kegel exercises regularly and keep your pelvic floor muscles toned you can chieve stronger erections and gain control over ejaculation. Kegel exercises mainly practicing to prevent or control urinary incontinence and prepare for childbirth.

The male and female sexual response cycles are strikingly similar. The primary difference between the two is male ejaculation. Multi-orgasmic women are able to have successive orgasms if stimulation is resumed shortly after the first orgasm because they do not ejaculate. Most men have always accepted orgasm and ejaculation as one in the same because they happen in such rapid succession, orgasm beginning slightly before ejaculation then tapering off during ejaculation. To navigating the path to multiple orgasm is gaining the ability to separate orgasm and ejaculation. The ability to separate these events involves the pubococcygeal muscle, or pelvic floor muscle, or "PC muscle" as it’s more commonly known. You may know this muscle for its ability to stop the flow of urine in mid-stream. If stopping the flow is difficult, you have a weak PC muscle. If this is the case you will need to work on strengthening the PC muscle before you'll be able to have multiple orgasms. If you squeeze or contract the PC muscle you should feel like everything deep in your pelvis is being drawn upward.

How to do Kegel exercises

The easiest way to identify the pelvic muscles in men and women is to stop the flow of urine midstream. When you do this you are contracting your pelvic floor muscles. When you then restart the flow of urine you are releasing the pelvic floor muscles. It takes diligence to identify your pelvic floor muscles and learn how to contract and relax them. To make sure you know how to contract your pelvic floor muscles, try to stop the flow of urine while you're going to the bathroom. If you succeed, you've got the basic move. Or try another technique: Insert a finger inside your vagina and try to squeeze the surrounding muscles. You should be able to feel your vagina tighten and your pelvic floor move upward. Then relax your muscles and feel your pelvic floor move down to the starting position. As your muscles become stronger and you become more experienced with the exercises this movement will be more pronounced.
But don't make a habit of starting and stopping your urine stream. Doing Kegel exercises with a full bladder or while emptying your bladder can actually weaken the muscles. It can also lead to incomplete emptying of the bladder, which increases your risk of a urinary tract infection.
If you're having trouble finding the right muscles, don't be embarrassed to ask for help. Your doctor or other health care provider can give you important feedback so that you learn to isolate and exercise the correct muscles.
Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, empty your bladder and sit or lie down. Then Contract your pelvic floor muscles. Hold the contraction for three seconds then relax for three seconds. Repeat 10 times.  You can repeat this exercise 3 times a day in a set every time you do a routine task, such as checking e-mail or commuting to work.
To get the maximum benefit, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles or isolating your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Also, try not to hold your breath. Just relax, breathe freely and focus on tightening the muscles around your vagina and rectum.

What is Mutual Masturbation?

What is Mutual Masturbation?
Tantra.com website

Mutual masturbation is often termed the safest type of sex you can enjoy with a partner. Since it is self stimulation and the male never enters the female, no fluids are exchanged. This prevents pregnancy and STDS.

Since Aids has been public, mutual masturbation has been taught in many sex education classes in high schools ~ remember, they teach what intercourse is also. They teach mutual masturbation as a choice, a form of abstaining from sexual intercourse.

Mutual masturbation is actually taught in some sex education courses as a way to avoid sexually transmitted diseases.

Does masterbation has any ill effects on our health.?

Masturbation, like sexual intercourse itself, does not cause any decline in your erection.  However, there is a refractory period that varies by age and the person that inhibits an erection for some time (1 or more hours) after masturbation or sexual intercourse. Masturbating and coming during sex are the same thing, an ejaculation based on sexual stimulation.  After coming, there is a delay until you can come again - the refractory period.  Masturbation does not interfere with sex unless you let it, mentally.  Make sex the priority.  It is more complicated because it is interaction with another person.  Masturbation is easier for men, and I think that is why a lot of men do it more than have sex. There is no reason to stop masturbating in order to "come more" during sex.  Just time is well.
Is it okay to masturbate if you're married? "Statistics state that up to 90% of the total male population and up to 65% of the total female population masturbate from time to time,"

Clitoris - an avenue for sexual pleasure and orgasm.

The clitoris is part of the female sexual anatomy in mammals. It serves no other known purpose than to provide an avenue for sexual pleasure and orgasm. The clitoris is located in the folds of the labia majora (outer vaginal lips), under the clitoral hood at the top of the vagina. It is about the size of a pea, but differs in size and shape between women. There is also an inner portion, which has been suggested is the other side of the G-spot. When aroused, the clitoris swells with blood, similar to the male erection. It may protrude slightly, and the hood may slide back. It can usually be felt.

The clitoris has as many nerve endings in it as does the glans of the male penis, making it a very suitable sexual apparatus. Every clitoris is different in shape, size and method of stimulation that feels the best. A clitoris shouldn't be touched with anything dry, as this can irritate. Fingers, penises or other objects should be moistened and slightly wet for best results.

To the untrained eye or touch, the clitoris may be difficult to find among the many folds and crevices of the vagina. It can be found by gently exploring with a moist finger or tongue the top of the vaginal lips just before the pubic bone and hair begins. There is no hair on the clitoris; it is smooth. It is easier to find on an aroused woman, because it swells and, when you get it right, she will no doubt let you know in no uncertain terms. If you are having trouble finding it or touching it right, ask the owner for some instructions. The clitoris is arguably the most important area of the genitals to be stimulated on a woman during sex play.

Masturbation - The Pros of Self-Pleasure

Masturbation is one of those activities everyone enjoys. Most of us are able to ignore the discouragement, however, and continue masturbating into adulthood. Unfortunately, some of the myths we’re taught as children are less easily ignored, and many men worry that the act must be unhealthy on some level. After all, how can something so pleasurable not be bad for you? Is masturbation unhealthy? Does it create impotence, erection problems during vaginal sex or testosterone reduction? If it is OK, what frequency is considered healthy or acceptable to one's sexual health? Once a day? Twice a day? Once a week or month?

Researched is telling there's nothing literally unhealthy about masturbation, and it has no negative impact on virility. Of course, if you masturbate and then attempt intercourse five minutes later, you're likely going to run into erection problems. And there is the psychological dimension to keep in mind -- like all good things, masturbation is best in moderation. If you find it interfering with your normal life, that's a problem. But generally speaking, there's no reason to be wary of the practice.

Ejaculation as a result of masturbation is no different than ejaculation as a result of sexual intercourse; sperm count is the same in either case. Frequent sexual encounters do not cause a decline in male fertility, ergo, nor does frequent masturbation.

Frequent masturbation is not bad for you. As long as it isn’t interfering with your work performance or taking precedence over the routine activities in your life, there’s no reason to be concerned about this. It will not decrease your sex drive, and it will not cause health problems. Enthusiastic masturbation can be tiring, though, and overly frequent activity of this nature can lead to physical exhaustion. Therefore, you may want to keep this in mind and schedule your solo sessions around your job or social obligations, lest you be fatigued throughout them.

In fact, a study published in The Journal of the American Medical Association last April suggested that masturbation can help decrease men's risk of developing prostate cancer. Data collected from 30,000 males between the ages of 46 and 81 revealed that those who ejaculated most often had a 33% lower lifetime risk of prostate cancer.
